The Two Most Expensive Cars In The World Are Not Even Driven But Locked Up
When you think of an expensive car you think of 3 things, comfort, beauty and speed. That is you main focus and that’s what you want if you will pay millions for your car
In this part I will show you two of the most expensive cars in the world, a Ferrari and a Bugatti.
They are not just expensive but insanely expensive and they are two seater cars and they don’t drive well off road, you might struggle if you take them there.
1962 Ferrari 250 GTO
A Red 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO sold for $48.4 million on Saturday in California, the most ever paid for a classic car at auction.
The vehicle was offered by RM Sotheby’s in Monterey, and was estimated to fetch between $45 million and $60 million, the highest valuation ever for a vintage auto at auction. It smashed the previous record of $38.1 million paid for a 1963 model of the same car in 2014.
Bugatti La Voiture Noire
With a price tag of $12.5 million and a selling price of $18.7 million after taxes, the one-off Bugatti La Voiture Noire is officially most expensive new car ever
And understandably. A modern interpretation of Jean Bugatti’s personal Type 57 SC Atlantic, the La Voiture Noire uses the same quad-turbo 8.0-liter W16 engine as the Chiron, producing 1,479 horsepower (1,102 kilowatts) and 1,600 Newton-meters (1,180 pound-feet) of torque.
It has six – that’s right, six exhaust tips, radical new wheels, an aggressive, bespoke fascia, and a gigantic light-up badge out back that spells out the name of the brand. Of course, this one-of-one Bugatti already has a home.
What is the point of owning these cars, the Ferrari is tuck in a rich man’s basement and he doesn’t drive other than hire someone to wipe it clean all the time and he looks at it now and then and lock it away. It’s the same with the Bugatti last year it was in a glass cage for everybody to see it.
We want to see them in motion and not in cages, we want to hear them rev and see how fast hey go, why buy a beast and lock it up inside a cage?
